Winery Pfaffl – around 12 acres of vineyards are cultivated by the Pfaffl family, by now in the 3rd generation as winemakers. In the 1950’s, the Pfaffl’s started direct marketing their wines in a “Buschenschank”, the Austrian name for wine taverns in which vintners sell their own wines.
To offer guests the full service of authentic local foods and wines, they opened a restaurant in Stetten (shortly north of Vienna) in 1976, which was expanded and modernized in 1996. Another large expansion followed in 2006, creating a unique location for home-grown wines in our region.
We place highest priority on serving our guests only home-made delicacies: from wines over our abundant buffets to “Mehlspeisen”, the typical Austrian doughy delights.
Whether in summer, in our large natural garden, or winter, inside our cozy restaurant, visiting “Buschenschank Pfaffl” is always worthwhile.
